Ans1: The Prepared Man Outdoors offers nationally accredited training in various survival skills, written by Jason Hunt, PhD. Their curriculum includes courses on Modern Survival, Including Winter Survival, and Urban Survival. Medical training courses are also available such as CPR, First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, and more. Finally, Te Prepared Man Outdoors offers immersive training in heritage skills, and woodsmanship. 

Q2: Do I need prior experience to enroll in the Modern Survival Courses?

Ans2: No prior experience is necessary! The courses are designed for beginners and all content can be mastered using a simple survival kit. Students will be sent a detailed pack list before classes.

Q3: Can I take online courses and still get hands-on training?

Ans3: Absolutely! Students who complete online courses with Campcraft Outdoors In the Modern Survival System,  can skill out at TPM Outdoors for a fee or retake the same class in person at a reduced rate.

Q4: What is the format of the courses offered?

Ans4: Courses combine real-world skills with classroom instruction. They include moderate physical exertion but are structured to support productive learning without overwhelming students.

Ans5: The Modern Survival curriculum is authored by Jason Hunt, PhD, from Campcraft Outdoors, ensuring high-quality and effective training. All curricula for heritage skills-based courses are written in house and structured to provide maximum effectiveness in the outdoor spectrum. 

Q6: Are there any certifications available upon completion of the courses?

Ans6: Yes! As a Campcraft Field School, TPM Outdoors can provide certification upon successful completion of Modern Survival Courses, from Campcraft Outdoors, a nationally accredited program! All Medical trainings will allow students to receive certifications through the Health Safety Institute for various trainings like CPR and First Aid upon successful completion.

Q7: What types of first aid training do you offer?

Ans7: We offer comprehensive training in CPR, Basic Life Support, Wilderness First Aid, and Pediatric First Aid to equip you with essential lifesaving skills. In addition, for campers and bushcrafters, we offer a Bushcraft hygiene and first aid course.
